Bear Hunting from Homer Alaska

Spring Black Bear Hunts

Your floating hunting camp, the 50' “Nauti-Lady”

Spring black bear hunts are in May. Using the 50’ boat as a mother ship, it’s a good place to eat and sleep. We travel 4 hours out of Homer to some prime hunting grounds and offer a couple days of fishing as well. The cost is $2400 per day from 1 to 4 hunters.  You'll travel by boat around the islands hunting for the bear of your choice.  Spring bears, just out of hibernation, feed along the shore and sport their thickest, unrubbed coat.  We have averaged 200 - 450 lb. bears that's square up to 6 1/2 feet.

Once you have made your selection, we put you ashore in a rigid hull inflatable naiad.  You should have your bear in short order since these bears do not have predators from the sea and pay little attention to boats.  You will eat and sleep aboard a warm boat in a family type atmosphere.  Plan on taking home the fish you catch also.

Confirmation for hunts
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your hunting reservation. Refunds are given with 30 days notice or more
